These pictures make me smile as Brody was having a good time wearing them around the house.

Jenee's Visit/ Cam 10 wks
Nancy's Visit
My dear friend Nancy and her boyfriend Gert came to meet Baby Cam and see the rest of us. It was so much fun having both of them here, they played with Brody non stop that weekend!

Breakfast With Santa
Junior League hosts Breakfast with Santa each year and its a great way to see Santa without the long lines at the mall. Not to mention this Santa looks "real" and not creepy like some of them I've seen. Brody wouldn't sit on his lap but he stood beside him. Virtually impossible to get pics of Brody these days as he's on the move and has no time for pictures, although we did capture a few!

This would have been really cute but I had just gotten Cam to sleep
and didn't want to move him!

Baby It's Cold Outside!
Santa came a bit early this year with a pair of very warm insulated overalls for Jason. Might seem like a lame gift but for a guy who lives in Minnesota, they are a must! They arrived in time for Jason to wear them during our first blizzard of 2010, where we got some 17" of snow with 40mph winds! Times like this I'm happy there is a division of labor!!
A view out our front door after the storm was over.
The snow plow came through and blocked our drive, because the snow was so packed he had to break it down with a shovel and then snow blow it. Good times when the temp is 0!

Creative Pops
Pops is super handy and creative...he's always working on something in his wood working shop. He sent both boys banks that utilize a combination plate that came from the old post office. I'm sure these will be lots of fun as they get older and want to have a secret place to stash all their cash. Wonder who will be the saver like Jason and who will be the spender like me!?!
He also made this name plate for Camden with a new machine he just got! Very cool!

9 Weeks
2 Months Old
We can't believe Camden Edwin is already 2 months old, where does the time go!?! We are in hopes that we've turned the corner from the colicky nights. We just had our 7th night of no tears, crossing fingers and toes that it's a thing of the past!! We've walked on egg shells for the past 7 days, keeping the house quiet in the evening and holding him while he sleeps, ect and its seemed to have worked! He's gotten very verbal and loves it when you talk to him. I took him Christmas shopping and he was loving all the attention he was getting from the ladies at Macy's...he was cooing and smiling like crazy!
I took him in for his 2 month well baby check and everything looks good. The only thing that the pediatrician pointed out was that he head his slightly flat on one side. So we have to be very deliberate over the next two months in turning his head the other direction in hopes to even it out! He weighed in at a solid 13 lbs (50th %) and was 23 1/2 inches long (75th %).

Happy Thanksgiving!
Jason's parents, John and Judy made the long trek from Maryland to spend Thanksgiving with us in chilly Minnesota! It was nice not to have to travel for the holiday and have family come to us! This thanksgiving we are overly blessed and thankful to have Camden in our lives, we love you Cam!
We picked up some squirrel food and John made them a little feeder out back. Brody loves to watch them from the window. Not only did we attract squirrels but also some deer stopped by late night to feast on what was left!
Don't these two look like bank robbers?! John has on ear muffs, a full face stocking cap and then a regular stocking cap...!!
7 Weeks and 21 1/2 months
Brody is such a big boy these days and he continues to amaze us! He loves to count, spell his name, build towers and play with his cars. He's also taken a great interest in Cam recently, so much so that I can't leave he and Cam in the same room together. The other day I went to start my car and came back and Brody was laying on Cam giving him love. He is always very gentle and has never shown any aggression towards the baby but you just never know!
Cam...this little guy has given me a run for my money. He's had these terrible witching hours in the evening from 4-8 and you just never know if its going to be 30 minutes or 4 hours. I found that the only thing that consoles him is a walk on the treadmill...so for several nights i'd put him in the baby bjorn and calm him that way...plus never hurts to get my rear on there as well! He's great during the day and gives lots of smiles and coos like crazy, we just need to get past this colic/crying phase in the evening!!
