It was definitely bittersweet to have Grandpa Ed spend Thanksgiving with us in Minnesota. Dad has always spent holidays at home with Grandma Ellen so this was the first holiday, only 2 short months after Ellen's passing that he didn't have her for Thanksgiving. We encouraged him to do something new and come see us. We had a great time and the boys really enjoyed having him here.
